1. Acceptance of terms
Welcome to the Man Yuen DSE application developed and operated by Keeonz Limited ("the App"). The App is a learning platform designed for Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) Chinese Language candidates, offering multiple-choice practice, classical Chinese analysis, AI advisors and other services. Please read the following Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately. If you are a minor (under the age of 18), please ensure you have obtained consent from your parent or guardian before using the App. Where a parent or guardian accepts these Terms on behalf of a minor, that parent or guardian shall bear full responsibility for the minor's conduct.
2. Description of services
The App provides users with diverse learning features, including the following services: (a) Classical Chinese MCQ practice Aligned to the HKDSE Chinese Language curriculum, the App provides multiple-choice practice covering designated texts and reading comprehension, helping users extend classroom learning and prepare for examinations. (b) Man Yuen Shu Tong (AI Advisor) The App features an AI-assisted learning advisor ("AI Advisor"). The AI Advisor can help users: (1) answer questions about classical Chinese learning (e.g. word meanings, sentence comprehension); (2) provide examination strategies and answering approaches; (3) share study methods and revision tips. Users may input questions to receive real-time interactive learning support. (c) Psychological tests (learning interest and self-discovery) The App provides self-discovery tests themed around classical literary figures, designed to increase learning engagement and help students gain a preliminary understanding of their learning preferences, personality tendencies and possible learning styles. (d) Learning analytics and personalised reports The App tracks users' learning progress and practice performance, and generates personalised learning reports presenting their learning status, progress changes and areas for improvement, to enhance learning efficiency and planning. (e) School Partnership Programme (advanced features) The App also provides a School Partnership Programme for schools or educational institutions, supporting school administration and teaching, including but not limited to: (1) learning progress tracking; (2) in-school timed assessments and homework arrangements; (3) customised question banks and content configuration; (4) other advanced learning and teaching support features.
3. User accounts
(i) Account creation, login and identity 1. Account registration: you may create an account using your email address to access the App's services and features. 2. Guest mode (if applicable): without registering, you may use some basic features as a guest. Guest mode may have limited functionality (e.g. learning progress may not be saved or synced); we reserve the right to adjust or restrict this based on system design. 3. Group or school use (School Partnership Programme): if you are a school or institution, you may apply for the School Partnership Programme through our designated channel. Upon approval, your institution may access advanced features. Your institution must ensure that accounts and permissions are used only by authorised staff and/or students within a reasonable scope, and must take responsibility for implementing, managing and supervising usage within the school. 4. Accurate information and consent: when creating an account or using the Services, you must ensure that information provided is truthful, accurate and complete, and you agree to these Terms and related documents (such as the Privacy Policy). (ii) Account security, credential management and liability 1. Credential management: you must keep your login credentials (e.g. passwords, verification codes, login links) secure and must not disclose, transfer or share them with any third party. 2. Presumption of account activity: unless otherwise required by law, any operation conducted through your account will be attributed to your account and is your responsibility. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to protect your credentials (to the extent permitted by applicable law). 3. Notice of unauthorised use: if you suspect your account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation, please notify us immediately at cs@keeonz.ai and take reasonable mitigation steps (e.g. change password, reset verification). 4. Our security measures: in reasonable circumstances, we may suspend login, restrict features or require further verification for your account pending investigation, to protect system security and reduce risk. 5. Personal data security: we will take reasonable and practicable security measures to protect user personal data from unauthorised or accidental access, processing, deletion or loss. (iii) Account data accuracy, updates and consequences 1. Accuracy commitment: you agree to provide accurate, complete and current personal information (such as information used for account creation, contact and service delivery). 2. Obligation to update: if your information changes (e.g. email address, contact details), you agree to update it in a timely manner where reasonably practicable. 3. Consequences of inaccurate data: if service is affected, we are unable to contact you, or other adverse outcomes result from inaccurate or outdated information, we may reasonably limit or adjust the relevant services while still taking reasonable steps to assist you in making corrections. (iv) Account suspension or termination 1. Suspension/termination rights: we reserve the right, without prior notice, to suspend or terminate any account suspected or found to be in violation of these Terms, or involving risk or improper use. 2. Grounds for suspension/termination: these include (without limitation): unlawful activity, fraud or improper use of the Services; sharing, selling or transferring login credentials; disrupting system operation or attempting unauthorised access; providing false information or refusing reasonable identity verification; (if applicable) failure to comply with payment or subscription terms; (if applicable) school/group account use beyond the authorised scope. 3. Suspension vs termination: suspension generally means restricting login or feature access during investigation; termination means the account is deactivated and/or the service ended. Actual arrangements depend on the circumstances. 4. User-initiated closure: if you wish to close your account, you may do so through our designated process. We will handle your request within a reasonable scope, though we may retain certain data for legal, compliance or dispute resolution purposes. 5. Post-termination effects: after suspension or termination, you may be unable to log in or use relevant features; learning records, settings and other usage data may be deleted, anonymised or retained for reasonable purposes (e.g. system security, payment record retention, compliance, or handling disputes) in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law. 6. Exclusion of liability: to the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from account suspension or termination.

Where adjustments are made, we will endeavour to notify users appropriately, but do not guarantee advance notice.
